It’s officially 2021! But first, let’s take a look back at what December brought in Optimizely updates.

Episerver search & navigation updates.

Several UI and nomenclature updates to Episerver Find went through last month, as well as a handful of bug fixes.

Rework and simplify Find click tracking.

An update designed to help capture edge case click-throughs using Episerver Find

(FIND-8645)  — Product: Episerver Find v 13.2.11

Update product name.

Episerver Find is now called “Episerver Search & Navigation,” and the UI has been updated to reflect this.

(FIND-8483)  — Product: Episerver Find v 13.3.0

Wrong content indexing job duration time.

When content was indexed through Episerver Find, it was showing the wrong duration time — notable only if your organization measures indexing time as a performance metric.

(FIND-7533)  — Product: Episerver Find v 13.3.0

EPiServer.Find.UnifiedSearch.ForInstanceOf throws exception under certain conditions.

Standard bug fix.

Episerver Commerce updates.

A few changes to Episerver Commerce, including the integration of telemetry for Episerver’s use in improving their own product.

CSR repeat past order.

A new feature that allows users to create new orders by reusing old orders.

Implement Telemetry for CSR.

With the purpose to understand Episerver users better and develop more efficient resources, Episerver is gathering some telemetry data from the CSR user interface. The data collected is completely anonymized and will only be used internally for decision making around user experience and feature development.

(COM-12302)  — Product: Episerver Commerce v 13.27.0

Change "payment plans" to "subscriptions."

A UI microcopy change that updates the term used for subscriptions.

(COM-12415)  — Product: Episerver Commerce v 13.27.0

OrderGroupFactory calculates shipping IDs incorrectly after upgrade.

After the previous upgrade, shipping IDs may have been calculated incorrectly. This is a bug fix.

(COM-12539)  — Product: Episerver Commerce v 13.27.0

Issue with Marketing/Campaign which has no target market.

Updated an issue that threw an error when a campaign was created with no target market.

(COM-12399)  — Product: Episerver Commerce v 13.27.0

Unable to import second- (or third-) entry relations.

Bug fix that solved an issue in which if a parent entry had a relation, a second one would not necessarily be added.

A/B testing updates.

Two standard bug fixes for A/B testing within Episerver:

A/B Testing issue not render images on a 3rd party site.

(MAR-1348) — Product: Marketing Testing v 2.6.5

GetActiveTests not doing a refresh when the key is missing.

Episerver Forms updates.

A standard bug fixe and a jQuery upgrade for Episerver Forms:

Validate method should always return boolean/deferred.

jQuery Core 3.0 upgrade.

Send feedback from UI - MVP API.

Now, editors and developers can send Episerver feedback directly from the CMS UI. A menu option "Give Us Feedback" is added to the help menu in the top platform navigation, available in CMS, Commerce, and add-ons that use the platform navigation loaded from the CMS instance.

The menu option opens the Episerver feedback portal in a new tab.
