As chief executive officer of Blend Interactive, Karla is responsible for the leadership, strategic direction, and initiatives while aligning with the company's mission, vision, and values.

Recognized as an accomplished female in tech, Karla often speaks publicly to encourage young women to pursue careers in STEM or on behalf of the technology solutions Blend implements. She's the 2022 SBA's Small Business Person of the Year for South Dakota and is an active mentor within the startup and small business community.

Her career began when she started building websites during her graphic design internship in 1997. Now over two decades later, as Blend's CEO and visionary, Karla utilizes her creativity by fostering a company culture and environment that attracts some of the best talent in the industry.

When she’s not running a business, Karla is busy running a family. Her other titles include wife, mom, dancer, and tennis champ.
