At Blend, we’ve created our own utilities and shortcuts for helping every project become a success — and we’ve released two new ones to the Umbraco community: Blend.Sitemap and Blend.RobotsTxt.
Umbraco’s development community is growing with every project. As veteran Umbraco developers, we’ve created our own utilities and shortcuts for helping every project become a success — and we’ve released a few of those utilities for the larger community in the past month.
This month’s Umbraco utilities, both released and documented by senior Umbraco developer Chase Burandt, include:
- Blend.Sitemap for Umbraco — This is a lightweight package that enables /sitemap.xml at the root of an Umbraco website. This package is configured using appSettings.
- Blend.RobotsTxt for Umbraco — This is a lightweight package that enables /robots.txt root of the umbraco website. This package is configured using appSettings.
One of Blend’s core values is “progress,” which we show by attending conferences, speaking and educating, and by contributing to the systems that we depend on for day-to-day work.
