Steve Gibbs

Steve’s journey into tech started with a hand-me-down computer from a friend’s dad — and a whole lot of curiosity. He started tinkering, breaking things, fixing them, and figuring out how everything worked. That early spark eventually led him to study computer programming in college, making him the first in his family to earn a degree.

Now, with 19 years of experience, Steve brings a steady, seasoned hand to his role as a developer at Blend. He’s all about solving problems, improving systems, and building digital tools that actually make life easier.

Outside of work, Steve enjoys playing guitar and getting lost in a good book. He and his wife are frequent concert-goers, always on the lookout for the next great live show. He’s also recently started writing — and even surprised his wife with a book he wrote as an anniversary gift.
