Sam McLain is no stranger to structure — or to a little chaos. With an eye for detail and a naturally methodical mindset, she found her way into QA after her husband pointed out that her “finicky” nature might actually be a superpower. Five years later, that hunch has proven true. What started with testing has grown into roles in product ownership and rules configuration — and Sam has loved every part of the journey so far.

Outside of work, you’ll find her traveling to new cities for concerts and live podcasts, relaxing at local breweries, diving into board games (specifically drafting and engine-building games), or baking pies she describes as "very mediocre" — all while stopping to greet every dog she meets along the way.
