Laura Brown

Project Manager
“My favorite joke is ... hold on ... (Googles joke)”

Over the last 6 years as a project manager at Blend, Laura has seen it all as she has managed countless complex web projects for clients around the world. While the fun and excitement of seeing a project from start to finish is a primary reason why she loves her job, her favorite part of being a project manager is acting as an advocate and partner for clients.

As if the diverse project work wasn’t enough, Laura is backed by her bachelor’s degree in advertising, minors in Spanish and public relations from SDSU, and is a Project Management Institute certified Scrum Master. She is also a 2020 Embe Women’s Leadership participant. But, most importantly, Laura prioritizes learning from experience so she can continue to raise the level of expertise she brings to her projects and her team.

While Laura’s professional credentials are impressive, it is second only to her dedication to bettering the community she lives in and exploring the world around her. Laura spends her time off volunteering as a Junior Achievement teacher, instructing yoga and writing (check out her blog at lauralee-b.com). All of that doesn’t keep her from wracking up her airline miles. Laura has traveled to 14 countries, 8 of which she visited in 12 days and is currently planning her next trip!
